Local authority are looking to recruit for a Recruitment Assistant to be part of a fast paced recruitment team delivering permanent candidates to hiring managers internally.
-Working within the Agency & Recruitment Team to deliver an end to end recruitment service to hiring managers
-Planning and supporting recruitment activities - vacancy postings, recruitment enquiries, supporting agency recruitment, pre-employment screening, new starter inductions
-Undertaking pre-employment checks for new starters, Liaising with managers for the purposes of recruitment Operation of the business recruitment controls, ensuring appropriate authorisations are in place prior to recruitment
-Liasing with applicants and new starters
-Carrying out first day inductions
-Using the recruitment and HR systems to provide an efficient and effective service
