- Assist the Senior Product Manager with the development and execution of the product strategy, including: strategic objectives, product design, pricing & end-to-end process design.
- Accountable to the Senior Product Manager and responsible for managing a subset of the Product
- Work with the Senior Product Manager reviewing and improving product performance.
- Liaise with the bank’s operational, technology and customer facing areas in all aspects of the product life cycle design and execution.
- To ensure that all new developments and enhancements are clearly communicated to the impacted area’s ensuring that all documentation is clear, concise and up to date
- To provide support to the Product Manager and field queries in their absence.
- To maintain industry knowledge and be aware of changes that affect the banks offering from a regulatory and scheme perspective.
Role Responsibilities:
Working with the Senior Product Manager, accountable to and responsible for delivering the following:
- Product design – development of product portfolio to anticipate/respond to customer and market demand, industry trends and regulatory change
- Assist with pricing strategy – help develop and implement pricing strategies for new and existing products aligned with and in support of customer strategies
- Product performance – Assist Snr Product Manager overseeing the performance of products, tracking and responding to performance trends. Help develop forecasts and integrate into budgeting and reporting.
- Help develop appropriate MI to support performance management.
- End-to-end process management – working with all contributors to the value chain manage the underlying processes that support the product delivery.
- Assist Snr Product Manager manage relationships with all parties including third parties.
- Compliance of products – ensure at all times with the support of the compliance and legal teams that the products meet all regulatory and scheme standards and are within the internally set risk appetite.
- Work closely with the process improvement programme in the design and build of product related end –to-end processes
- Assist with the collation of feedback and input from customers and other departments on product strategy and cultivate ways to improve product utilisation.
