Management Accountant will have responsibility for the day to day accounting and reporting of the companies corporate entities, namely the UK advisor and any operating subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the production of timely and accurate accounting information for the UK based Investment Advisor including; monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Preparation of the annual budget, through liaising with each department head, along with monthly variance analysis, biannual reforecast and reporting to the Senior Partners
- Maintenance of the company’s general ledger and oversight of the accounts payable function
- Completion of quarterly VAT Returns, FCA reporting requirements and annual tax filings
- Production of detailed Management Information for the Head of Finance, Senior Partners and Guernsey Directors
- Manage the annual audit and tax computation processes and provision of profit statements to all Partners
- Assist the Finance Manager with the financial planning and analysis of any economic and regulatory developments affecting the group
- Continually strive to improve processes, systems, controls and reporting
- Ad-hoc internal and external reporting requests
The Individual:
- Newly Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), first time passes preferred and, while not essential, experience of Financial Services is advantageous
- Strong numerical and detail orientated skillset is essential
- Self-driven, quality and results-oriented with an ability to work well under pressure
- Reliable, hardworking and ambitious
- Strong Microsoft office skills (Specifically Excel, Word and Power Point)
