Our client is a highly reputable private equity firm seeking an experienced and talented Investor Relations Associate.

The Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for working alongside the investor relations team, supporting the development and maintenance of all marketing and communications materials. This role would suit a hardworking and proactive individual with strong experience in the financial services industry, looking to grow their career in an exciting and varied role.

Responsibilities

Communications:

  • Preparing presentation materials for investor meetings and investor pitches
  • Ensuring that all marketing collateral is up to date and assisting with the design and production of letters and other marketing and communications material
  • Maintaining the company website and database
  • Undertaking competitive intelligence (CI) to help support and grow the company’s positioning
  • Supporting the preparation of annual meeting and Advisory Committee meeting materials
  • Assisting with LP reporting and ad-hoc communications

Fund Raising:

  • Preparing due diligence material and maintaining data room for investor access to the material
  • Assisting with the PPM drafting process
  • Sourcing answers and drafting responses to ad-hoc investor requests

Experience and Personal Attributes

  • First class academic background
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in financial services
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
  • Understanding of financial statements
  • Applied knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-driven and able to work well under pressure
  • Quality and results-orientated
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong team player and self-motivator as you will be required to work as part of a team as well as individually
  • Impressive interpersonal skills and confidence to interact with colleagues across various levels within the firm
